Unrealistic price tag of American Healthcare

Updated: Oct 25, 2022

It is not a hidden fact that healthcare in America is the most expensive as compared to any other country in the world.

Many people residing in America avoid going to a doctor until it is extremely necessary, all because of the high rate of healthcare in America.

A recent study by Kaiser Family Foundation found that the average cost of childbirth in the US is $18,865 which is far more than the world average of $5000 (approx).

The main reason for these high bills is the lack of transparency and the socialist system of working which allows the hospitals to charge any desired amount.

Many other countries like UK and India have a limit up to which a particular hospital can charge the patient for a certain treatment while others like Germany, France, and Russia have the whole healthcare system free for the patients, they do not need to pay anything or rarely a bare minimum amount.

US Government does not have any hold on its country's healthcare system, which is a primary reason it is so expensive.

What should the American Government do?

Make the healthcare at least partially if not entirely communist.

America is a rich country with a huge population and economy but is still the most undeveloped country when it comes to caring about the health of its people.
